Our office is at 390/B Narayan Peth, located in Bhanu Apartment. We are right near the famous Badekar Misal, so people usually find us by looking for the food spot first. Nakoda Financial & Taxation Services isn't a big firm with glass walls and carpets. We work out of a modest room that feels more like a study. There are stacks of files everywhere because tax season never really seems to end. We spend a lot of time staring at numbers and filling out forms. It’s quiet work mostly, punctuated by the sound of a calculator or a printer running in the corner. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the tax codes. People come in worried about their filings, and we just sit down with them and go through the papers one by one. There’s no fancy jargon used here. We just explain things in plain English so everyone understands what’s happening with their money. Sometimes we share a tea with a client while waiting for a document to download. The apartment building is old but sturdy, and it stays relatively cool even in the summer months. We’ve been in Narayan Peth for years. It’s a comfortable place to work. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We just handle the taxes and the finances for the local folks who need a bit of help with the government paperwork.
