Modular Architects & Interior Designers

You can find us at Navbharat Society, number 32, in the Kothrud area. We go by Modular Architects & Interior Designers, which basically means we handle everything from the shell of the building to the stuff inside. The office is right inside the society, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have samples of wood, tiles, and fabric swatches sitting on almost every flat surface. It’s a bit of a jumble, but we know where everything is. Kothrud is a nice place to be based, very central for us. We spend our days sketching out ideas and then figuring out if they’ll actually fit in the space. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring. We aren't the type to use big words or fancy pitches. We just sit down with whoever comes in and talk about what they need for their home or shop. Sometimes the society kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but it’s a friendly atmosphere. We’ve been at number 32 for a while, and the neighbors are all used to seeing us lugging around big boards and rolls of paper. The team is small, just a few of us who like designing things. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It's just about making spaces look okay and function well for the people living in them. We take it one day at a time and keep the work honest for our local clients.
