Merrill Lynch

Merrill Lynch operates out of a space in the Akshaya Society, specifically at 516/2940 in Sant Tukaram Nagar. This is in the Pimpri area of Pune, which is a very active neighborhood with a lot of people living and working close together. Our office is located within a residential society, so it feels more like a part of the community than a cold corporate building. The room we work in is fairly standard with basic desks and a few computers that stay on most of the day. We have some plants in the corner that someone remembers to water once in a while, though they could probably use more sunlight. The neighborhood around Sant Tukaram Nagar is full of small shops and houses, so there is always the sound of scooters and people talking outside. It is a simple place where we manage our records and handle our daily paperwork without much fanfare. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the weather gets bad, but we just wait for the backup to kick in and keep going. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that; you just come in and see us sitting at our desks. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to going all the way into the main city. It is just a regular local office where we try to stay organized and get through our lists.
