Memon Estates

If you know the Camp area, you probably know where Babasaheb Ambedkar School is located. We are right opposite that, over in Samim Society at number 364. It is a lively spot, especially when the school lets out and the kids are all over the place. We’ve been operating Memon Estates from this location for quite some time now. The office is just a simple room where we keep our files on different properties around the neighborhood. People stop by to ask what is available for rent or if anyone is selling a flat nearby. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or walking around to show people different houses. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We mostly just know the local streets and the people who live here. The plastic chairs we have for visitors aren't the most comfortable, but they work for a quick chat. We also have a small kettle in the corner because we drink a lot of tea while we wait for people to show up for viewings. Dealing with property is mostly about knowing who is moving and who is looking. We don’t use any fancy software for it, just our notes and our memory of the area. It is a local business through and through. The walls have a few maps pinned up, and there’s always a bit of dust because of the road outside. We just keep things moving.
