Mayur Electronics

You can find Mayur Electronics on Chinchwad Anekal Road 6. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with wires, remotes, and different types of electronic gadgets. There is a small counter right at the front where I spend most of my day. Behind me, the shelves are stacked with boxes of everything from light bulbs to small kitchen appliances. I also do some repairs, so there is usually a soldering iron heating up somewhere and a few circuit boards lying open on the workbench. The light in the shop isn't great, so I have a bright lamp right over the repair area. People bring in their old radios or mixers, hoping I can get them working again. The road outside is always busy with people heading toward the industrial areas or coming back home. Sometimes the noise makes it hard to focus on the tiny screws I’m trying to put back in place. I have a small stool I sit on, and a little fan that mostly just moves the warm air around. I have a small collection of old components that aren't made anymore, tucked away in a drawer for when a really old piece of equipment comes in. The sidewalk outside is uneven, so people have to be careful when they carry their heavy televisions in. I usually help them out if I see them struggling from the window. It is a quiet business.
