Our workshop is located at Serial No. 98/2 in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate, right behind the Kirloskar area. Hadapsar is a very busy industrial hub, so there are always trucks and tempos moving through the narrow lanes. Finding our specific plot can be a little tricky because the signs aren't always clear. We spend our time working with various parts and materials in the shed. The air is often filled with the sound of machinery and the smell of industrial oil. It is a dusty environment, and our clothes usually end up with a few stains by the end of the shift. We have a small team of people who have been working together for quite a while now. We don't have a big office or a reception area; it is mostly just the production floor and a small space for paperwork. We start early in the morning before the sun makes the tin roof too hot. Lunch is a simple affair where we sit together and talk about things other than work for a bit. There is always a lot of heavy lifting involved when the raw materials arrive. We have to be careful with the machines and make sure everything is maintained properly so they don't break down. It is just a routine of making things, packing them, and getting them ready for transport. We don't do anything fancy, just the work that needs to be done.
