Mayfair Enterprises

Being in Hinjawadi means we are surrounded by all those big IT parks and glass buildings, but Mayfair Enterprises is a bit more grounded than all that. We’ve been set up here for a while, dealing with the daily flow of business supplies and whatever else needs moving. It’s a busy area, always a lot of traffic and people in a hurry, but inside our doors, things are a bit more slow-paced and practical. We don't have a big corporate team or anything, it’s just a handful of us making sure orders get where they need to go. Our warehouse space isn't perfectly organized, to be honest, there’s always a box out of place or something we need to find under a stack of papers. We deal with various goods, and every day brings something different. One day it’s helping a local guy with a small order, the next it’s a bit more complicated. We don't put on any airs here. You’ll find us in our regular clothes, probably drinking chai and talking about the cricket score while we work. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s not really a priority when there’s actual work to do. We’ve grown used to the dust and the noise of the construction happening all around Hinjawadi. It’s just how the neighborhood is now, and we’re just a small part of the local fabric that keeps things moving behind the scenes.
