Our office is located at 11 Sumukh Apartments here in Pune. We have been based in this part of Maharashtra for a good while now. It is a quiet enough building, mostly residential around us, but that actually works well for the kind of work we do. We spend most of our hours sitting at our computers, working through various design layouts and the technical bits that come with them. It is not like those massive glass buildings you see in the tech parks. It feels more like a home office where we can actually think without too many distractions. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and say hello, or we have a quick chat in the parking area. We handle the design work that comes our way, mostly small to mid-sized projects that need a bit of extra attention. It involves a lot of double-checking numbers and making sure everything fits the requirements of the job. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so usually, one of us just gets the door if someone comes by. It is a simple way to run things and it keeps our heads clear. We find that being in a regular apartment block keeps us grounded. We are not trying to impress anyone with fancy leather chairs or glass walls. We just want the work we produce to be solid and useful. If the person we are working for is happy with the final result, then we feel like we did our job properly.
