Maitreya Agro

Living and working in Pune means there is always something going on and Maitreya Agro is right in the thick of it. We don't have a big fancy office downtown. Instead we spend most of our time out where the actual work happens or in our modest space here in the city. Dealing with agro products means you are always at the mercy of the seasons and the rain. I find myself checking the weather report more than anything else these days. The office is usually a bit of a mess with maps and crop reports scattered around. It’s just how we work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with polished presentations or corporate talk. We just know about farming and the stuff that comes from the ground. My boots are usually a bit dusty and the car is always a mess from driving out to meet people. We have a small staff and we all know how to do a bit of everything. One day I might be looking at logistics and the next I’m helping move some crates. It’s a varied life and it keeps things interesting. Pune is a great place to be based even if the traffic makes getting around a bit of a chore sometimes. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s tasks without making a big fuss about it. It’s honest work and that’s plenty for us.
