We are Radhika Agro, and you can find us at D-5/6, Popular Nagar in Warje Malwadi. We work in the agricultural sector, which means our schedule often follows the seasons. Our place at Popular Nagar is where we coordinate everything, from seed distribution to looking at crop samples. It’s a bit of a mix between an office and a warehouse. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the surrounding rural areas who need supplies for their farms. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit; we’re usually in boots and practical clothes because things can get a bit messy. We have bags of supplies stacked up and there’s always a bit of an earthy smell in the air, which we don’t mind at all. We check the weather reports constantly because that dictates what our week is going to look like. Sometimes the office is empty because we’re out visiting a site, and other times it’s full of people discussing the next harvest. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep our accounts in order and stay in touch with our suppliers. Warje Malwadi is a growing area, and we’ve seen a lot of changes, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the land in a way that feels right for us.
