You can find us at number 95 in K. Sirasgaon, which is in the Ambad area. Madhavanand Agro Producer Company Limited is basically just a collective of us farmers from the neighborhood. We realized a while back that we could get more done if we stopped trying to do everything on our own. So, we set this up. It’s a plain building where we gather to sort out the logistics of our crops. Being in Ambad, we have our fair share of challenges with the land and the markets, but we just take it one day at a time. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place for us to keep our records and meet up. Most days, we are out checking the soil or seeing how the plants are coming along. We don't use big words or have long meetings that go nowhere. We just talk about what needs to be planted and where we’re going to sell it. It’s a lot of manual labor and sometimes the days are long, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working the earth. We're proud to be from Sirasgaon and we try to look out for one another. It's a small operation, but it means a lot to the people who are part of it. We just keep moving forward, hoping for good rain and decent prices when it's time to sell.
