Maa Art Jewellery

Our little shop, Maa Art Jewellery, is in the Indraprasth Complex, unit B 7. It’s located in Rasta Peth. If you know the area, you know it’s a place with a lot of history and old buildings. The complex itself has several different businesses, and we are just one of them. We’ve been in this unit for a while. It’s not a huge space, but we have enough room for our jewelry cases and a place for people to sit. I spend most of my day cleaning the glass or rearranging the items. We get all sorts of people walking in, from students to older folks who have lived in Rasta Peth their whole lives. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We don't do any big advertising. Usually, someone’s cousin or neighbor told them about us, and that’s how they find B 7. Sometimes the lights in the complex flicker, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has a nice feel to it. We aren't a high-end boutique. We just sell art jewelry that looks nice for everyday wear or special occasions. I enjoy talking to the customers who come in. Many of them have become friends over the years. It’s a small, honest business and we are happy to be part of the community here in Indraprasth Complex. We stay open late most days to help people coming after work.
