Laxmi Traders

Laxmi Traders is situated at 8-386-A in the Puneet Market. Our shop is in a spot called Cholkan Ali, which is off DR Pitamberdas Road in Budhwar Peth. It’s a bit of a maze back here. The lanes are narrow and crowded with people and carts. We have been here for years, and we know every corner of this market. The shop isn't big. We have to stack things high to make everything fit. There is a specific smell to the place, a mix of old paper and the goods we handle. Sometimes it gets a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together. We have some overhead lights that stay on all day. The noise from the street never really stops until late at night. We have a small bench where customers can sit if they need to wait. We know all the other traders around here. We trade stories over tea in the afternoons. It’s a tight-knit place. You won't find any fancy computers or high-tech systems here.
