Kotak Securities Limited

You can find us in the Pradhikaran area of Nigdi, right at Plot 11 in Sector 25. The building is called Bhagirathi, and it’s a fairly easy spot to get to if you are in this part of Pune. We have a decent office here at Kotak Securities Limited that focuses on all the stock market and securities work. It’s not one of those massive glass towers you see in Hinjewadi; it is more of a local neighborhood office. We have our desks set up and the usual office equipment that sometimes makes too much noise. The weather in Pune is usually okay, but we still spend most of our time indoors keeping an eye on the trading screens. Our days are filled with people coming in to sign forms or to ask about how their investments are doing. We try to keep the atmosphere pretty relaxed so nobody feels intimidated by the financial stuff. It can get a bit hectic during the middle of the day when the markets are moving fast, but we manage. We’ve been part of the Nigdi community for a bit now, and we like the fact that we can help our neighbors with their money matters. There’s no corporate jargon used here; we just explain things in plain English or Marathi if that’s easier. It is just a regular workplace where we try to be as helpful and honest as possible.
