Our office is tucked away in Erandwane, at 73 2 1. It’s a quiet enough part of the neighborhood, and we’ve been working out of this space at Kirloskar Consultants for some time. We aren’t a giant firm with hundreds of people, just a group that focuses on our specific tasks. Consulting can mean a lot of things, but for us, it’s about sitting down and looking at the problems brought to us. We spend a lot of our days at these desks, looking over plans or notes. The building is easy to find if you know Erandwane well. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. The workspace is functional, nothing too stylish, just a place to get the job done. Sometimes we grab tea nearby and talk about the current projects. It’s honest work. We like being in this part of town because it’s got a good feel to it. Every day is a bit different depending on who calls or who stops by. We try to keep things straightforward. No need for big jargon or making things sound more complicated than they are. We just take the work as it comes and try to be helpful. It's a steady pace here at 73 2 1, and we're used to the rhythm of the area.
