We are up on the second floor of Gera Junction. If you know the Kondhwa Chowk area at all, it is quite easy to find us. Lulla Nagar gets really crowded during the morning rush, so most of us try to get into the office early to beat the traffic. Our space covers rooms 211 to 213. It is a decent-sized office, but we have filled it up with too many filing cabinets over the years. We do both imports and exports here, so there is always something coming in or something going out. One side of the room handles the incoming stuff and the other side deals with the containers leaving the port. It gets a bit loud sometimes because of the traffic noise outside, but you get used to it after a week. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and tracking numbers on our screens. It is not the most exciting work in the world, but it keeps us busy and we have a good rhythm going. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow or out of order, so we just take the stairs if we are not carrying heavy samples. We do not have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and someone will probably be on a call. We try to keep things organized, but during the busy season, it gets a bit chaotic.
