Kamal Biyani Associates

Our office, Kamal Biyani Associates, is located right on Fatima Nagar Main Road at Office No 28. It’s a busy area and being on the main road means there is always a lot of noise from the buses and cars passing by. The office itself is up a flight of stairs that are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been at number 28 for a good number of years. It’s not a very big space, just enough for a few desks and our filing cabinets which are getting pretty full. We don’t have any of those modern glass partitions or fancy coffee machines. We just have a small kettle in the corner for when we need a break. The window looks out over the street and sometimes I just watch the people going about their business. Fatima Nagar has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more shops opening up every year. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We show up, go through the mail, and get to work on whatever is on the schedule. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the traffic outside, but we don't mind much. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We are just local people doing our work in a plain office. It’s a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make do with what we have at Office No 28.
