J.A.Desai Ferrocements Pvt.Ltd. is based out of number 13 in the Ram Laxman Anand Baug Society. It is a bit different because we are located in a society rather than a big industrial park. This means we have to be mindful of the neighbors and keep things relatively quiet when we can. We have been doing ferrocement work for a good while now. It involves using wire mesh and cement to make various structures. It’s specialized work but we have gotten used to the process over many years. Our team is small and we mostly handle the technical side of things from this location. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and planning out how a project will come together. Sometimes we are out at sites and other times we are here at the society office. It’s a bit of a mix. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people find us through word of mouth in the construction circles. The society is a quiet place and we like the atmosphere here. It feels more personal than being in a crowded market. We’ve got our routine down. Morning tea, checking the schedules, and then getting into the actual cement work or project management. It’s a steady pace. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just trying to do the work properly at 13 Ram Laxman.
