Out here in Dhayari, specifically at B/23 in Imrat Raikarnagar, things stay pretty steady for us. We are located right on Sinhgad Road and it’s easy to find because we are directly opposite the Mor Bunglow, which most people know. The lab isn’t anything too crazy to look at from the outside, but inside we have our desks and all the testing equipment set up. We spend most of our time looking at samples and writing down numbers in our logs. It can get a bit technical, but for us, it’s just the daily routine of checking stuff that comes in from different sites. The road outside is always crowded with bikes and cars, so it’s usually quite loud during the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in if we leave the door open too long, so we try to keep things shut tight. We’ve got a few people working here who have been around since the start, and we just go about our business without much fuss. It’s a practical setup and we don’t spend much on decorating or making it look like a showroom. The focus is always on the machines and getting the results recorded correctly so people can move on with their projects. It’s a bit cramped when we get a lot of samples at once, but we manage to find a place for everything eventually.
