We are located in Suyog Nagar at Plot Number 65, which is inside Balaji Apartment. Kalpana and Nitin Chandanbatwe are the ones who look after the daily running of the place. It is a bit of an urban setting for an agro industry company, but it works for us because it keeps us close to the city markets and the transport hubs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer trying to coordinate with people out in the fields and the buyers in the city. It is a lot of back and forth. Agro industry is not just about the dirt; it is also about the logistics of getting things from point A to point B before they go bad. We have a small team here. It is not very fancy, just a few desks and a lot of files. We deal with the processing side of things mostly. Nagpur is a big place and it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle, so we try to keep our operations straightforward. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the raw produce and make sure it gets handled correctly. It is a job that requires a lot of patience. Some days the phones do not stop ringing and other days we are just waiting on a shipment. It is never boring.
