I Design

We've been here at Room 163 in the Hirabai Chawl for quite some time now. Most people know the spot on Nehru Road in Dawari Nagar. It’s not a big fancy office or anything, just a small space where we get our work done. Santacruz East is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside the door. We started I Design because we like making things look right. It’s mostly just us here handling the daily tasks. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the samples and drawings lying around, but that's how we work. We don't have a big team or a receptionist. If you come by, you'll probably see one of us at the desk or moving stuff around. We just focus on the projects that come our way from the local neighborhood and nearby. People find us through word of mouth mostly. It's a simple setup. We keep the doors open and try to finish what we started on time. Living and working in Mumbai-55 means you get used to the noise and the fast pace. We don't spend much on advertising because the work speaks for itself usually. It’s just a regular local business trying to do a good job. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same room. Nothing fancy, just honest work. We deal with all sorts of design requests that people bring in. It's nice to be part of the local community here.
