Hemantkumar & Co is located at 535 Kadiakui Road in the Raviwar Peth area. It’s one of those parts of town that has been around forever and has a lot of history. The streets are very narrow and the buildings are packed together tightly. At number 535, we have our small office and storage area. It’s mostly boxes and old ledger books around here. We deal with a lot of different people coming in for business matters. It’s not a retail shop where you just browse around for fun. People usually come here because they know we have what they need for their own businesses. The air in Raviwar Peth is always full of different smells from the other shops and the street food nearby. We have been here for a long time now. The desk we use is old wood and the chairs creak a bit when you sit down. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. We don't use much technology besides the basics like a phone. Most of our work is done through talking to people face to face and keeping manual records. It’s a lot of back and forth throughout the day. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with carts and bikes that we can't even get out for lunch easily. We just take it as it comes. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a local company doing its thing on Kadiakui Road.
