Our shop is at 24 Budhwar Peth, right by Appa Balwant Chowk. This area is always packed with people, especially students looking for books or people heading to the temples. It’s a very old part of Pune. We’ve been here at this address for a long time, passed down through the family. The building has that old feel to it, with narrow stairs and wooden rafters. It’s not like those modern glass buildings you see elsewhere. We have a lot of history in these walls. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in. Some are old regulars we’ve known for decades, others are just passing through the chowk. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here. The space is filled with all sorts of items, and it can feel a bit cluttered sometimes. We try to keep things in order, but it’s a struggle. There’s always a bit of noise from the traffic and the crowds outside, but we like the energy of the market. It’s a simple life running a family business. We open up in the morning, have our tea, and see who the day brings in. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to keep the shop running like it always has. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the world go by when things are slow. It’s a good spot to be in. We appreciate the people who have supported this place over the generations. It's just home for us.
