Gurudev Water Suppliers is over in Sangavi, specifically at 5th Cross in the Marappa Industrial Estate, 77/2. Being in an industrial estate means we’re surrounded by factories and workshops. It’s a dusty, busy place to be, but it suits us fine for what we do. Our main job is getting water to where it’s needed, which usually involves a lot of driving around the narrow streets of the estate. The tankers are parked out front when they aren't out on a run. It’s not a glamorous job, especially when you’re dealing with leaks or blocked pipes in the middle of a hot day. We’ve been doing this for several years now. Most of our clients are the local businesses here in the estate, though we do some residential work too. The office is just a small room with a desk and a few chairs for when the drivers take a break between trips. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to get the water delivered on time so people can get on with their own work. Sometimes the traffic in Sangavi is a nightmare, and that throws off our whole schedule for the afternoon. We just tell people we’re on our way and get there as soon as we can. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially during the summer months. But it’s what we know how to do. We’re just a local team trying to do a decent job every day.
