You can find us right on the Main Road in Katraj, specifically in the Jadhav Nagar area. It’s a convenient spot for the trucks to pull in without getting lost in the back streets. We’ve been running this brick business for a good bit of time now. The sun beats down on the yard all day, which helps with the drying process. We have a routine that starts early before the heat gets too bad. Every pile of bricks represents a lot of hours of manual labor. Our guys know their way around a kiln. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just the methods that have worked for us since we opened. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expected, especially during the peak building season. If that happens, we just tell people to wait a few days for the next batch to finish firing. We’re straightforward about what we have and what we don’t. The noise from the main road is always there in the background, but you get used to it. We see a lot of the same faces coming back year after year. It's nice when a neighbor stops by just to chat for a minute while they’re waiting for their load. We just focus on making sure the bricks are hard and ready for whatever project someone is working on. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, near the road.
