Glacier Overseas Company India is over at number 12 in the Samata Cooperative Estate. This is in Bhosale Nagar, right on Rangehills Road. The estate is a mix of different small businesses and units. It has a very practical feel to it. Our spot is not anything special to look at from the outside, just a door and a small window. Inside, we have a few desks and a lot of shelves. Rangehills Road can get a bit congested during the peak hours, but generally, it is a decent place to work. We spend our days dealing with overseas shipments, which means we are often working odd hours to match with different time zones. There is always a stack of documents on someone's desk waiting to be signed. We use a lot of tape and cardboard for the packaging side of things. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we all know how the other person likes their chai. We do not have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do every day. The cooperative estate has a bit of a community vibe, and we often talk to the guys in the next unit about the local news. It is just a steady, everyday business where we try to keep things moving without too many mistakes. It is a lot of manual tracking and phone calls.
