About Gitanjali Shirole – Fashion & Trends in Pune
I work out of a small space on J M Road, specifically 1202/3/12. It’s a busy street with lots of shops, but once you step inside my door, it’s relatively quiet. I’ve been Gitanjali Shirole for as long as I can remember, and this is where I spend most of my weekdays. It’s not a big fancy office with a receptionist or a waiting room; it’s mostly just me and a desk covered in papers and folders and a few pens that actually work. I spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at my computer. People stop by sometimes to drop off documents or to ask questions about whatever it is we're working on that week. The neighborhood has changed a lot since I first started here, but this building stays pretty much the same year after year. I try to keep a regular schedule, but sometimes the work piles up and I’m here much later than I’d like, watching the sun go down over the street. It’s just how things go when you’re running your own thing. There’s no big marketing strategy here, just word of mouth and people knowing where to find me on J M Road. I drink a lot of tea while I work and listen to the muffled traffic outside. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the city. Some days are slow and others are a bit of a mess, but I just keep at it and handle one thing at a time.
