Ganesh Cloth Stores

Our shop is over at 260 IB Patel Road in Kharadi. We’ve been here for a good bit now, mostly selling different types of cloth to people in the area. It isn't a very big place, so things can get a little tight when we have a few customers inside at once. We spend a lot of our time measuring out fabric and cutting it for people who want to get clothes made. The rolls of material are everywhere, stacked up against the walls and on the tables. It gets a bit dusty from all the lint, but we try to sweep it out when we can. Working here means you get to know what people like to wear and what colors are popular this season. We don't really do anything besides selling the fabric and some basic tailoring supplies. It’s a quiet enough street, but we stay busy with regular customers from around Kharadi. Sometimes the lighting isn't the best, so we might take a piece of cloth to the door to show the real color in the sunlight. That’s just part of how we do things. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local cloth store. We just open up the shutters every morning and see who comes in. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we do.
