I've been running Electronic Engineer out of 5, Anupam Vihar for a good while now. It’s right here in Kenjale Nagar. Pune is getting busier every day, but this little corner stays pretty much the same. Most days, you'll find me at the bench surrounded by bits of wire and old soldering irons that have seen better times. I don't really have a big team or anything, it's mostly just me and sometimes a cousin who helps out when things get backed up. People from the neighborhood drop by with all sorts of broken stuff. Sometimes it's a simple fix, other times I have to tell them it's just not worth the cost. I try to be straight with folks about that. The shop isn't exactly tidy, there are boxes of spare parts everywhere and the light over the main table flickers if you don't tap it just right. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so I usually take a break then. I’ve always liked figuring out how things work, ever since I was a kid messing with my dad's radio. It’s not a fancy office or anything like what you see in the new IT parks around the city. Just a practical space where things get worked on. I keep the doors open mostly to let a breeze in. If you're looking for the place, just look for the blue door near the end of the lane.
