Elantas Beck India Ltd. operates out of Beck House on Damle Path. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads, which makes it a nice place to come to every morning. The building has been our base for quite some time now. We handle a lot of business across South Asia from this one spot, but inside, it feels more like a regular office than some giant headquarters. There are desks piled with folders, and the sound of people talking on the phone or typing away. We don’t really go in for those modern office trends like bean bags or open-concept glass rooms. It’s just a solid, old-school office building where work gets done. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know how everyone likes their tea or how to fix the printer when it jams. It’s a practical environment. We deal with specialized materials and chemicals, so there is a lot of technical talk in the hallways. Sometimes it gets a bit dry, but that’s the nature of the industry. We don’t spend much time on fancy marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We just focus on our accounts and our clients from this quiet corner of Damle Path. It’s a steady routine that works for us and has for years.
