We’ve been here at Shop No 8 in Garud Apartment for quite some time now. Narayan Peth is always busy, especially being so close to the Modi Ganpati Mandir. If you know this area, you know how these narrow lanes get during the festival times. We just show up every morning, pull up the shutters, and get right to work. It’s not a huge place, but we have our setup and it works for us. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines running and neighbors stopping by to ask about their orders. Revankar Jewellers is just right there, so that helps people find us when they get a bit lost in the streets. We don't do anything fancy with our walls or decor because we spend most of our time just handling the paper and ink. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets jammed, and we just deal with it. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small shop like this. We know most of the people who walk past our door every day. It’s a nice neighborhood to be in, even if it gets a bit loud with the traffic and the crowds. We usually have tea from the stall nearby twice a day to keep us going through the afternoon rush. We don’t really have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get finished. It’s practical work and we like the routine of it all.
