Designation

Our business, called Designation, is located on Swadeshi Mill Road in Mumbai. Specifically, we are in Khandila Chawel No 19. If you know Mumbai, you know what life in a chawl is like. It’s busy, loud, and full of life. Our office is basically just a room in the chawl where we’ve set up our stuff. It’s not a polished corporate office with air conditioning that works all the time. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy, but we open the windows and get on with it. There’s always the sound of people talking or kids playing outside. We like being right in the middle of it all. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do our work and talk to the people who need us. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and the 400 022 area is where we feel at home. It’s a practical spot for us because it’s close to everything. The name on the door is Designation, but we’re just regular folks. We don't use big words or try to act like we're something we're not. We just sit at our desks, do the tasks for the day, and then head home like everyone else. It’s a simple way to run a business and it feels right for this part of Maharashtra. We just get on with it.
