Design Within

Design Within is tucked away in Kothrud, specifically in Office No 11 at Bhelke Residency in Bhelke Nagar. If you know the area, you know how hard it can be to find a parking spot on a busy afternoon. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old filing cabinets that don't quite close right and a stack of drawings that always seems to be leaning to one side. We spend a lot of time here, usually staring at our monitors or talking about what needs to get done next. The light in the hallway has been flickering for a week and we still haven't called anyone to fix it. It’s just how things go. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the mornings get too long. Sometimes the neighbor from Office 12 comes by to borrow a stapler or just to chat about the weather. Bhelke Nagar is a decent place to work, even if the traffic on the main road gets backed up around five o'clock. We try to leave before the rush, but usually, we end up staying late to finish a few more things. The carpet has a few stains from where someone spilled tea last year, and we just put a chair over it. It’s a real place with real people just trying to make a living and stay on top of the work we have.
