Design Within

Design Within is located in a very lively part of town. We are in the Ex Serviceman Colony, specifically near Pansari Bazar and Sarafan Bazar. Our office is Adjoining Sachdeva Market at Off No 1. If you know this area, you know it’s always crowded with shoppers and vendors. Finding us can be a bit tricky the first time because of all the different signs in the market, but we are right there in the middle of the noise. The office itself is small and usually filled with fabric swatches, wood samples, and sketches pinned to the walls. We do interior design and planning for shops and homes. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have more than two clients visiting at once, but it makes for a friendly atmosphere. We don't have a corporate vibe at all. We wear jeans to work and drink way too much coffee from the shop downstairs. The market noise is constant, but you eventually stop noticing the honking and the shouting. We like being so close to the suppliers in Sarafan Bazar because we can just walk over and pick up what we need for a project. Most of our clients are local shop owners or families from the nearby colonies. We don't do big presentations with projectors. We just sit around a table and talk about what looks good and what fits the budget. It’s a very hands-on way of working.
