Demech Chemical-Specialty Coatings is located at T-77 in the Bhosari Indl Est. This area of Pune is famous for its manufacturing, and we are right in the thick of it. The estate is a maze of small and large factories, and the sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the background music of our lives here. Our building is a simple industrial shed with an office section attached to it. Inside, it smells strongly of resins and coatings, which is something you stop noticing after about ten minutes. We have a small team of technicians and office staff who have been together for years. We usually have our tea together in the morning before the real work starts. The roads around Bhosari can be quite rough, especially after the rains, but we are used to the bumps. Our daily focus is on getting the right coatings ready for our customers and making sure the batches are consistent. We do not spend money on fancy marketing materials; we just let the work speak for itself. It is a practical, no-nonsense environment where we value people who show up and do their job well. The day usually ends with us locking up the shutters and heading home through the heavy Pune traffic.
