We’ve been here in Somwar Peth Sector 9 for quite a long time now. Most folks just know us as the place at D 1 where things get sorted out. It’s a busy area and the noise from the street usually fills up the shop by noon. We spend most of our mornings just getting everything ready for the day ahead. Sometimes the electricity acts up because it’s an old part of town, but we manage. If you walk past the sector 9 gate, you’ll see our door usually propped open to let some air in. It isn't a fancy setup with air conditioning or big signs. We just have our tools and the stuff we work on piled up where it makes sense to us. Most of the people living nearby stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a repair. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the work, so I don't always shake hands right away. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no big office or a secretary answering phones. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. Somwar Peth has changed a lot over the years, more cars and more noise, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do every day without making a big fuss about it. It’s just how we work.
