Vale Polymers

You can find Vale Polymers over at J-422 in the MIDC Bhosari area of Pune. Being in an industrial zone like Bhosari means it is always noisy and there are trucks moving around constantly. Our shed is just one of many in this part of Pune. We work with polymers, which means it can get a bit hot and smelly inside during the summer months. It is hard work, and we all wear our old clothes because things tend to get messy on the floor. We aren’t a massive factory, just a mid-sized operation where we keep an eye on the machines ourselves. Most of the guys here have been working together for years. We know the machines by their sounds and can tell when something needs a bit of oil or a tweak. Pune has a lot of these kinds of places, and we are just one small part of the MIDC network. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone wants to see what we do, they have to come into the workshop and mind their step. It is a practical place for practical work. We spend our days managing batches and making sure the polymer stuff comes out right. It’s a bit of a grind, but it pays the bills and keeps us occupied. Bhosari is where we belong, among the other shops and factories doing the same kind of daily labor.
