D & P Electronics

We run D & P Electronics over in Bhosari, at 19th Main 1/272. It’s a standard kind of shop, filled with wires, components, and various gadgets we’re working on. The workbench is usually a mess of soldering irons and screwdrivers, but I know where everything is. Bhosari is an industrial kind of place, so there’s always someone looking for a part or a quick fix for something that stopped working. We’ve been in this spot for a few years. The lighting isn't the best, but we have a few desk lamps that help when we’re looking at small circuits. It’s not a big corporate showroom. It’s just a room where we fix things and sell a few bits and pieces. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or work in the factories. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word usually gets around if you do a decent job. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the pavement until it comes back. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to make sure people’s electronics keep working. The shop is a bit cramped, and the shelves are sagging under the weight of old parts, but it works for us. Just a small business trying to get through the week like everyone else.
