Credila Financial

Up on the third floor of Nirmitee Heights on J M Road, the office stays pretty quiet compared to the street below. Credila Financial is where we spend our days looking through folders and checking numbers. J M Road is always packed, and sometimes it takes forever just to get into the building if you're coming from the other side of town. The lift in Nirmitee Heights is a bit slow, so a lot of people just walk up the stairs. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get too full. It’s mostly students and parents coming in to talk about how they’re going to pay for college or university abroad. We hear a lot of stories about people’s dreams and where they want to go. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. There are always forms to sign and documents to photocopy. The air conditioning is usually a bit too cold, so we keep sweaters on our chairs. We don’t have a fancy lobby with marble floors. It’s just an office with some chairs and a water dispenser. We’ve been here at this address for a while now and we know the tea guy downstairs pretty well. Work is steady, and we just try to keep the files organized so we don’t lose anything important. It's a lot of double-checking figures and making sure the stamps are in the right place.
