Computer Planet is right here in Shaniwar Peth, specifically at 3, Amruteshwar CHS. Being near Shaniwar Wada means there's always people walking by and plenty of noise from the street. Our shop is usually full of boxes, cables, and parts that are waiting to be used. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but we know exactly where every screw and motherboard is kept. People come in with all sorts of issues, and we just try to help them out. It’s a local spot. We don't have those bright lights or uniform shirts you see in big retail chains. Most of the time, we’re just sitting behind the counter or hunched over a machine that’s acting up. Shaniwar Peth has a certain feel to it, and we’ve become part of that over the years. We’ve seen computers change a lot since we started, but the basic problems stay the same. Sometimes the coffee gets cold because we're busy with a repair. It’s a small space, so things can get a little tight when a few customers come in at once. We don't put on an act. If we can't fix something, we’ll tell you straight. It’s just how we run things here at the shop. It’s steady work and we like being in this part of town, dealing with folks who drop by and chat while we work on their gear.
