Chordia Chemicals is tucked away at 26-B inside Patil Plaza. If you know the Mitra Mandal Chowk area, you’ve probably walked past our building a dozen times without thinking much about it. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s a busy intersection outside, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking coming through the windows. Inside the office, things are pretty simple. We have a few desks, some sturdy metal filing cabinets, and a lot of paperwork scattered around. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on handling our chemical supplies and getting orders out the door. The team here is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the rhythm of the plaza, like when the tea seller comes around or when the mail is delivered. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to coordinate everything in the limited space we have. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished reception area. Usually, if you come in, you'll find us on the phone or checking through inventory lists. We just try to do our jobs well and keep things moving. It’s a bit dusty and the lift is slow, but it’s where we do our work every single day. Being at Patil Plaza feels like home.
