Chaitanya Brick'S

You can find Chaitanya Brick'S over at Survey No. 43, near Ganpati Matha in Warje Malawadi. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good number of years. The hill nearby gives us a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice during the summer. We are a small local brickyard. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. People just know where we are. We have stacks of bricks all over the place. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through the yard when we have a big batch ready. My son helps me with the accounts and the phone calls. We use an old truck for some of the local deliveries, but mostly people come with their own transport. The roads in Warje Malawadi can be a bit tight, so you have to be careful driving. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow from almost nothing to a crowded suburb. It’s been interesting to watch. We know the local contractors by name. They stop by for a chat even if they don't need anything that day. We keep things pretty simple here. No big corporate rules. If we are tired, we take a break. If someone needs bricks urgently, we try to help out. It's just a typical family business trying to make a living. The dust is part of our lives. We’ve grown used to it over the years. We take pride in just being here every day, rain or shine.
