Our office, Bhat Joshi & Co. LLP, is tucked away in Lane No. 11 of Shahu Colony. The building is called Parijaat, in Chinmay Colony. It’s a quiet residential-feeling area in Pune, which suits us just fine. We aren't looking for a high-rise office in a tech park. This place feels more like a real workplace where you can actually hear yourself think. We’ve been operating from here for a while. Most of our day is spent dealing with files and talking to clients who know us by name. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth, which we prefer. It means we’re doing something right. We handle the usual grind of a professional firm without any of the ego you sometimes see. It’s just us, sitting at our desks, getting the numbers right and making sure the forms are filed. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s dark outside already. Pune has changed a lot since we started, but this neighborhood still has its charm. We know the local guys who deliver the mail and the ones who run the shops nearby. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We just want to keep things simple and keep the work moving. We aren't perfect, we make mistakes like anyone else, but we always try to fix them quickly. It’s just a normal office trying to do a good job.
