Our shop is located at 45/46 Ati Road in Raviwar Peth. It’s a traditional area for jewelry, and we’ve been here for a long time. At Bengal Art Jewellers, we focus on the actual making of the pieces. You can often hear the sound of small hammers and the hiss of the soldering torch from the back. We aren't a big, shiny store with security guards at the door. It’s more of a workshop feel. We sit at our benches and work on gold and silver designs all day. Sometimes the air smells like polishing compound. We take orders for weddings or just simple repairs. People come to us when they want something handmade rather than factory-produced. The display cases are old wood, and the glass has a few scratches, but the jewelry inside is what matters. We’ve seen generations of families come through our doors. We don't use fancy sales pitches. We just show the work, explain the weight, and tell people how long it will take to finish. It’s a slow process, but that’s the nature of the craft. Raviwar Peth is always crowded, so it’s nice and quiet once you step inside our shop. We keep our heads down and keep working. It’s a simple life focused on the craft we learned from our elders. We take pride in the small details that big factories usually miss.
