Bags ' N ' Books

We set up this little place on Nagar Road because we saw people around here always looking for decent bags and something to read. It's a small shop, nothing fancy at all, but we try to keep the shelves full as much as possible. Some days are busier than others, especially when the traffic picks up outside. We've got a mix of school bags and travel gear mostly. The books are a bit of everything, some new, some that have been sitting there a while now. It’s mostly just me and one other person helping out during the day. We don’t have a big computerized system or anything, we just remember where we put things. If you’re walking down Nagar Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s easy to find if you're looking. I guess we open up early most mornings. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in quite a bit, so we’re always wiping things down. It gets a bit cramped when a few customers come in at once, but we manage. We don't really do online stuff, just sales over the counter. People stop by on their way home from work. It’s a simple setup. We like it that way. No big corporate rules or uniforms here. We just sell what people ask for. Sometimes we run out of specific notebooks, but we usually get more in a few days. It's just a local spot for local people. Not much else to say really. Just a shop with bags and books.
