Bag & Baggage

You can find us at Bag & Baggage right on Mahatma Gandhi Road in the Camp area. We take up the space at 54, 55, and 56, so we have plenty of room for all the different things we carry. It’s a simple shop full of suitcases, backpacks, and leather goods. People usually stop by when they are getting ready for a big trip or when their old school bag finally gives out. We have been part of the Camp neighborhood for a long time. The street outside is always bustling with shoppers and traffic, but inside we just focus on helping folks find a bag that fits what they need. We aren't one of those fancy boutiques; we just have shelves and racks full of practical items. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded on the weekends, especially when families come in together. We know a lot about zippers and stitching because we’ve seen what lasts and what doesn't over the years. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here on MG Road. It’s a family-run kind of place. We spend our days unboxing new stock and chatting with the regulars who pass by. If you need something to carry your stuff in, we probably have it sitting on a shelf somewhere in the back. We just try to keep the shop organized and the customers happy with what they buy.
