Atmosphere (India)

Our place, Atmosphere (India), is located at 9 Anand Mahal on Adajan Road in Khondhwa. It is a decent spot on a road that gets a fair amount of traffic. The shop is part of a larger building and we have a small sign out front so people don't miss us. It is mostly a quiet operation. We spend a lot of time just making sure everything is organized. The interior is simple with plain walls and some basic shelving we put up ourselves. We don't have a big team of people, just a few of us who handle everything from answering the phone to cleaning the windows. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during the monsoon, so we have to keep a bucket there, but it’s a minor thing. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous place in town. We just want to do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day. A lot of our visitors are people who live in the apartments nearby and stop in while they are out running errands. We usually have the news playing on a small television in the corner. It feels more like a workshop than a store sometimes. We don't do much in the way of promotion; word of mouth has always been enough for us to keep the lights on and the doors open.
