Atlas Chemicals

Atlas Chemicals is right there at 156 Barne Road, near Parage Chowk in Mangalwar Peth. If you are familiar with the area, you know how crowded it gets around the chowk during the day. We have been running things from this building for a long time. It is an older structure, but it serves us well for storing what we need. We handle various chemical supplies for local businesses and workshops. Most of our time is spent moving heavy barrels around or checking the inventory lists to see what is running low. It is hard work and you end up with dirty hands by the end of the shift, but that is just the nature of the business. There is always a bit of a sharp smell in the air here because of the products, but you stop noticing it after a few minutes. We have delivery trucks coming in and out at all sorts of hours. Sometimes the noise bothers the neighbors, but we try to be as quiet as possible. The office area is just a small corner with an old wooden desk and stacks of paper ledgers. We still do a lot of things the old way because it works for us. Most people find out about us from someone else who has been here before. It is a bit like a maze inside with all the tall shelves. You have to watch your step. It is just a normal day-to-day business.
