Atharva Estate Agency

We are located at 13-A Ashoka Centre, which is part of the Sitara Housing Society. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of maps and files piled up. Being an estate agency, our phones are always ringing, and there is usually someone dropping by to ask about rentals or prices in the area. We have lived around here for years, so we know the buildings and the landlords pretty well. It is not like those big fancy agencies you see in the city center. We just sit here, drink our tea, and talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to finish a contract, which is always annoying. The Sitara society is a nice place, and we get along with the security guards and the other shop owners. We spend a lot of our time walking around the neighborhood showing people flats or checking on properties. It is a lot of legwork, but it keeps us busy. We do not use any big marketing tricks or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people find out about us. We just try to be honest about what is available and what the real costs are for everyone. It is a straightforward business, and we like it that way. Most days we are just happy to get through the paperwork.
