Our office for Aquapharm Chemicals Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Salisbury Park, which is actually a pretty nice part of Pune. We are in Flat 301 of the Balmoral Apartment. It's an older building, but it has a lot of character and it's quiet enough for us to get our work done without too much distraction. Being in an apartment complex means we have neighbors living their lives all around us, which makes the workday feel a bit more human. We have some filing cabinets that are overflowing and a few plants that probably need more water than they get. The 411037 area is convenient for most of us to get to. We aren't a massive corporation with a lobby and a security guard checking IDs. You just come up to the third floor and there we are. The rooms are filled with desks and we’ve got a small balcony where a couple of guys go to get some fresh air. We talk a lot about chemicals and orders, but we also talk about where to get the best lunch nearby. It’s a simple, functional space. We’ve got maps on the wall and calendars that we actually use to mark things down. It’s not a high-tech lab or anything, just the administrative side of things. We like the neighborhood because it’s got some trees and it feels less like a concrete jungle. It makes coming into work every morning a little bit easier on everyone.
